show! California is so nice! Went to the sound
check, and got to hear PTB practising "Black Magic Woman" as Alex from
Santana was going to join them on stage towards the end of the show.
Alex joined PTB for "Born Under a Bad Sign", "Black Magic Woman" and "Crossroads".
Unbelievable show. What a treat it was. At the meet and greet
after, the crowd, Pat, Rick & Alex all started to sing Happy birthday
to Eric "Freightrain" Frates. This was the last gig of the Aug 2001
road trip. We couldn't let it end so soon, a few of us all went to
the beach and had a few drinks and enjoyed the beach in CALIFORNIA!
