This was kind of a "weird" venue for a gig. First off, the show
started at 8pm. It was in the Holiday Inn, just in a huge meeting/hall
room I guess you could say, and had seats all set up, and a bar at the
very back, kind of a weird set up. The crowd stayed seated most of
the night, until towards the end, they finally stood up and totally got
into it. After the show, PTB came out as usual for a meet & great
with the fans. This was I think the longest line up I have seen waiting
to meet the band. They were there for long time meeting and signing
autographs. They stayed right till the end, gotta luv'em!!
After everything was finished, some of us went out on the town of Reno
to check it out! We head out to this bar within walking distance
to the Holiday Inn, (which by the way was snowing a little at the time,
guess it is cool to see for people from FLORIDA, not like someone like
me from CANADA) and as soon as we walked into this one bar, the band
was playing a PT tune, that was pretty cool. We stayed there for
a little while, then went off to find some other live bands, no luck finding
any, soooooooooo it's RENO, what else is there to do, GAMBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I lost of course, Rick got me addicted to those damn wheel of fortune slots,
and had to keep playing! Night #2 comes to an end. Next stop
SACRAMENTO California!  |
